Untried Polish Challenge-Warm

Another Untried being kicked to the curb today!

With all my untrieds, I have a low number of what I would call Warm colors. I am rather pale, with a blue undertone to my skin, so I lean heavily to the cool colors.

However, I do give in to impulse, on occasion. Ahem.
But it's so PRETTY! Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Lava, three coats.
I was wondering about it with the first coat, it went on rather sheer, but I remembered from my swatch stick that it covered up pretty well. I'm not certain that the third was necessary, but I wanted to be very even.
And the duochrome!
Or should we call it multichrome?
Peachy, orangy, pinky, burgandy-y foily goodness!
I did experience some bubbling between the coats.
And some obligatory Seche Vite shrinkage.
But I still think it is gorgeous.

I am thinking about stamping over it tomorrow morning, with some black and an all-over design. If I do, I will edit this post and add another picture.

eta: Here it is stamped with with Zoya Raven, plate Bundle Monster 322. Looks nice, but I think I still have to order Konad Black.

Check out the other participants' manicures.

  1. Love that duochrome. I can't ever get mine to photograph with both colors showing.

  2. Ooh! That first pic shows off the colors perfectly! I only have one from this collection...Maybe it's time to get a few more...

  3. That is an awesome duochrome, it has two fantastic colours.

plus I love that stamp!!! it looks so good together, do you mind telling me which plate you used?

  4. Bluey, it is BM-322 from the Summer 2012 set that Bundle Monster put out.

    1. Thank you very much! I was thinking about buying this, now I know I need to.

    2. I am so sorry! It is Cheeky, not BM! Off to fix the post.

  5. Ooh that is a pretty polish!

  6. OH MY GOD WE PICKED THE SAME POLISH! Great minds ... :)

    1. I did not know that about them using real silver in this line!
